Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard have been spotted arriving in Manchester with the Arsenal squad, following speculation about their involvement in Wednesday night’s fixture.
Speaking ahead of Wednesday night’s clash with Manchester City, Mikel Arteta told the media that Granit Xhaka remained a doubt for the clash following the illness that left him out of action at the weekend.
There was also some speculation on social media about the involvement of Martin Odegaard, with some suggestions he may be a doubt for the trip to Manchester.
But as the Arsenal squad arrived in Manchester ahead of the game, both players were with their teammates getting off the coach.

Arsenal certainly can’t afford any further injury and illness absences, with William Saliba, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Mohamed Elneny already ruled out of the City clash.
By comparison, City have had a clean record with injuries and illnesses lately, with only Nathan Ake confirmed to be missing out on Wednesday’s game.
It’s hard enough to go and play against your title rivals, the defending champions, in their own stadium, while they’re in the best form of their season so far. It would be all the more difficult to do so without three starters.
Hopefully, Saliba will be the only first-choice player to miss out on the clash, and both sides will have 10 of their preferred 11 available.
