Gianluca Scamacca will miss West Ham United’s game against Arsenal this weekend, but David Moyes’ side are largely in a great position with injuries and suspensions.

Ahead of Arsenal’s trip away to West Ham United, Hammers boss David Moyes confirmed that Gianluca Scamacca will be unavailable due to his knee surgery.

“The only news is that Gianluca Scamacca will have an operation on his knee tomorrow (Saturday),” Moyes said. “So we will be missing him [against Arsenal].”

Yet for the most part, West Ham are in an excellent position when it comes to injuries.

Scamacca is the only current absentee from their squad, and the Hammers have no suspensions for league fixtures either.

As a result, West Ham will have exactly the same squad available for their next game as in their last few matches.

It’s somewhat difficult to predict exactly which team Moyes will start, as he’s trying to balance a Premier League campaign with their Europa Conference League quarter-final.

The Hammers travelled away to play Gent on Thursday, so there may be some changes to the side against Arsenal as a result, just three days later.

Assuming the West Ham lineup on Sunday is more similar to the side they played against Fulham last weekend, it’ll look something like the team below:

Fabianski, Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Bowen, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Ings, Antonio
