Celta Vigo’s 20-year-old sensation Gabri Veiga has been turning heads with his impressive performances, attracting the attention of top clubs like Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Real Madrid.

With a €40 million release clause and a crucial summer ahead, the Spanish youngster finds himself without an agent as his previous contract has come to an end.

According to Diario AS, several agents have made false claims of representing Veiga or attempted to secure deals on his behalf.

This has led to confusion among interested clubs, who have been “bombarded with  false offers“.

Veiga and his family are now considering going solo without an agent, potentially saving them €6-7 million in the long run.

Celta President Carlos Mourino has expressed his reluctance to sell the young star, but acknowledges that the club may be powerless to prevent his departure.

However, sources close to Celta continue to leak information about alleged offers and contacts for Veiga, fuelling speculation about his future.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his representation, it seems likely that Veiga will be on the move soon.

Celta’s president appears resigned to the possibility of losing the talented youngster, which would represent a record sale for the club.
