19-year-old Mohamed Lamine Gueye currently plays as a winger for Real Oviedo in Spain, featuring for the side at u19 level this season.

Internationally, the Senegalese youngster is hoping to play at the u20 World Cup this summer, with Gueye confirming he’s held conversations with the national coach.

But beyond that, the winger is eventually hoping to play in the Premier League, ideally for Arsenal.

“I aim very high,” Gueye said (via Sport Witness). “I want to follow in Sadio Mané’s footsteps by playing in big European clubs, especially in the English League, since Arsenal are the club of my heart.

“And of course, I dream of wearing the jersey of Senegal.”

Gueye believes he’s at his best on the left wing, but describes himself as a “very versatile striker, ambidextrous…I am able to play as a centre-forward and on the flanks”.

In the current campaign, Gueye has six goals in 19 games for the Real Oviedo u19s, making 12 starts.

Having only made his debut in November, he’s made a pretty fast start with the side, even training with the first team at one point.

Gueye would have had the chance to speak to a current Arsenal player during that first-team session, as Marcelo Flores is currently on loan with Oviedo.

But a potential move to Arsenal is a long way off for the winger.

The best way to catch the eye now would be to get into that Senegal squad for the u20 World Cup and perform well at the tournament – which kicks off on May 20th.
