USA goalkeeper Matt Turner has been dubbed the funniest player in the Arsenal squad by Aaron Ramsdale. The reason for this title is Turner’s Americanisms, which Ramsdale finds hilarious.

In an interview with NBC Sports, Aaron Ramsdale explained why he thinks Matt Turner is the funniest member of the Gunners locker room, claiming it’s “unintentional.”

He shared a story about Turner speaking to Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne during an FA Cup clash.

De Bruyne approached the referee, and Turner’s response was, “Relax dog, it’s a dogfight out there.”

This comment had Ramsdale bursting into laughter, unable to contain himself.

Despite being England’s shot-stopper and known for his antics, such as winding up Leeds fans in 2021, Ramsdale insists that it’s Matt Turner who brings the most humour to the Arsenal squad.

Turner’s Americanisms and lighthearted attitude seem to have made a lasting impression on his teammates, providing some much-needed comic relief in the locker room.

As the Arsenal squad continues to bond and work together, it’s always good to have someone like Turner to lighten the mood and bring laughter to the team.
