Arsenal left things on a high ahead of the international break, winning 4-1 against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

With Manchester City playing in the FA Cup at the weekend, the Gunners had a chance to go eight points clear at the top of the league, albeit having played a game more.

Mikel Arteta’s side took full advantage, putting everyone in a good mood ahead of the next week or so away from club football.

Oleksandr Zinchenko certainly enjoyed the moment, and his wife posted a video on Instagram of the left-back driving past Arsenal fans at the Tollington in Islington.

Zinchenko leaned out of his car and shouted “come on!” to the fans, who responded with cheers.

Arsenal are certainly forging a close bond with the supporters this season, and we can only dream of the kinds of celebrations we might see if the Gunners bring home the Premier League title in May.

For now, that’s still a long way off, with 10 games to go and a relatively fragile lead over Manchester City – with a trip to the Etihad Stadium still to come.

In the meantime, Zinchenko won’t be going far with Ukraine over the break, as their only game is away to England at Wembley Stadium, and the Ukraine national team will be training at Brentford’s training ground.

Even the England internationals will go further afield, with Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale set to travel to Italy for a game on Thursday.
