Thierry Henry turns down France women’s national team coaching role, eyes USMNT head coach position instead.

Thierry Henry has declined an offer to coach the France women’s national team following Corrine Diacre’s dismissal, according to French federation committee member Jean-Michel Aulas.

Henry, who previously served as an assistant coach with Belgium, is reportedly interested in the vacant U.S. men’s national team head coach position.

The USMNT has been without a permanent coach since Gregg Berhalter’s contract expired in 2022. Henry has both played and coached in Major League Soccer and expressed his interest in managing at any level, including the U.S. team.
