Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has admitted to dreaming of winning this season’s Premier League title as the Gunners continue to lead Manchester City at the top of the table.
Arsenal currently hold an eight-point lead over City, albeit having played a game more, and the two sides are set to face each other next month at the Etihad.
Despite being knocked out of the Europa League and losing to City in the FA Cup earlier in the season, Martin Odegaard remains optimistic and emphasised the importance of staying calm and working hard to improve.
Odegaard also mentioned that the team is enjoying their current position and the connection with the fans, and they need to continue pushing to get better and maintain their position.
“It’s been my dream since I was a baby, so of course you can dream,” Odegaard said.
“But the main thing is to stay calm, to keep working hard and to keep pushing every day to make sure that we get better every day.”
He added: “I think everyone enjoys it, we are where we want to be. We have to enjoy it. We are in a good position, so we want to enjoy this, and the connection with the fans, within the team, everyone is so together now.
“So we just have to keep going the same way and keep pushing every day to get better and to stay where we are.”
