Arsenal named Oleksandr Zinchenko as their Player of the Month for February on Friday, with the supporters giving him 49% of the overall vote.

Gabriel Magalhaes finished in second place, with Bukayo Saka in third, but Zinchenko ultimately won the award for the second time in a row.

Zinchenko scored a key goal against Aston Villa in February, playing every minute of Arsenal’s Premier League fixtures throughout the month.

Speaking in a video clip to the supporters, Zinchenko said: “Thanks a lot for voting me Player of the Month again.

“I know that my teammates are going to kill me because they think that people who are voting for me, they don’t understand football.

“But anyway, forget about them! Let’s push together until the very, very end. Come on, Gunners!”
