Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri have been called up for the England u17s over the international break, giving Arsenal a player in every England youth team.

England announced their u17 squad on Tuesday, with Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri both receiving call-ups.

The u17s are playing in the Netherlands over the break, competing in the Elite Round of UEFA u17 European Championship qualifiers.

They’ll face Denmark on Wednesday, Northern Ireland on Saturday, and the Netherlands next Tuesday, with the chance to qualify for the final competition this summer if they top the group.

From an Arsenal perspective, this now means the Gunners have players in all of the England youth teams, from the u21s to the u17s.

Folarin Balogun and Emile Smith Rowe are linking up with the u21s, Brooke Norton-Cuffy is in the u20s, Amario Cozier-Duberry and Reuell Walters are in the u19s, Lino Sousa is in the u18s, and now Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri are in the u17s.

That’s in addition to the Arsenal presence in the senior side, with Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka receiving call-ups from Gareth Southgate.

It should be a great experience for all of the Arsenal players involved, and they’ll want to end the week with two or three wins.
