Ireland captain Katie McCabe limped out of Arsenal’s Champions League quarter-final win over Bayern Munich, raising concerns about a possible long-term injury when she was pictured on crutches and in a protective boot.

The press in Ireland are reporting that the 27-year-old appeared to sustain a metatarsal injury to her left foot when she was substituted in the 89th minute.
She later emerged on crutches to join in the post-match celebrations with her team-mates.

Despite also losing captain Kim Little early in the match, Arsenal won 2-0 in front of a record 21,307 fans at the Emirates Stadium, with goals from Frida Maanum and Stina Blackstenius.
The team’s victory led them to their first Champions League semi-final since 2013.
As for McCabe, she is awaiting the results of a scan that is set to take place on Thursday.
