Arsenal updated their main Europa League squad after the closure of the January transfer window, adding their new first-team signings and leaving out youngsters George Lewis and Lino Sousa due to a lack of spare spaces.

But whilst the main squad is fixed for the remainder of the competition, the B-list can be updated at any point up until midnight the day before the game.

The B-list contains players under the age of 21 who have been with their current club for two years, and Arsenal have added three players to it in their latest update.

Reuell Walters and Joel Ideho have both joined the list, as they’ve both just become eligible.

Ideho joined Arsenal in October 2020, and Walters in November 2020, so neither were eligible for the B-list at the start of the group stage, but they both are now.

Then Salah-Eddine Oulad M’hand has also been added after his return from a loan with Hull City, but he’s currently absent through injury anyway.

Note: Bukayo Saka has been included on the B-list as there’s no downside to doing so, Arsenal can select freely from either list for their matchday squad.

Including Saka on the B-list, as he’s still young enough to be eligible, frees up a spot on the main squad list.
