Following Thursday’s announcement that Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale will be in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming international break, England have also confirmed call-ups for many of their youth teams.

With the exception of the u17s, whose squad will be announced on Tuesday, 21st March, the rest of the youth team squads were made official on Friday.

Let’s have a look at the call-ups, with the full fixture list at the bottom of this article.

Emile Smith Rowe and Folarin Balogun have been called up by the England u21s.

Smith Rowe has been involved with the first team in the past, but his recent absence from regular action with Arsenal means an u21 call-up makes more sense on this occasion.

Balogun will be hoping for a first-team opportunity soon, whether for England, the USA, or Nigeria. But despite his 17 goals for Stade de Reims this season, he also remains in the u21s for now.
