Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal have a rare opportunity to win the Premier League and they can’t let it pass them by.

With 15 games left of their Premier League campaign, Arsenal sit top of the league by two points with a game in hand on the chasing pack.

There’s still a long way to go, but the Gunners have set themselves up very well for the final stretch.

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes his old team won’t get many better opportunities to lift the trophy than they have right now.

“[Their chances] won’t be more favourable than they are today, so don’t let this chance pass us by,” Wenger said (via GFFN).

“The usual threats in the Premier League are out of the race. The only threat is Manchester City, and even they aren’t as dominant as last year, or the two years prior.

“Since the start of the season, City are more vulnerable defensively, which hasn’t been the case in recent years.

“I feel as though you win it when you can and when you’re not worrying about the rest; you let others talk and you take the title.”

The next two games could be crucial, as Arsenal play their game in hand on Manchester City and two extra games compared to Manchester United.

Winning both would open up a gap of five points to City and 11 points to United, even if City win their game as well.

Losing both could see Arsenal dropping out of top spot and even finding themselves at risk of falling into third with one more slip. So there’s a lot at stake.

That’s how it’s going to be every week from now on. There are no throwaway games in a title race.
