PSG reportedly contacted William Saliba’s people to sound him out about a move to Paris in January.

Arsenal are currently in talks with William Saliba with a view to getting him to renew his contract with the club.

That he has suitors outside the Premier League is no surprise even though Arsenal have absolutely no intention of selling the 21-year-old whose contract expires in 2024.

According to a report from France, PSG contacted Saliba’s representatives in January regarding the player moving to Paris.

In November, Sport.fr claimed that Saliba was ‘intrigued’ by the project at PSG but it seemed at the time like that story was either Saliba’s people using PSG to get a better deal at Arsenal or the Parisians using the media to try and turn Saliba’s head.

There is no indication that Saliba is or was interested in leaving Arsenal.
