Jakub Kiwior arrived at Arsenal from Spezia Calcio in the January transfer window, and he’s yet to make his debut for the Gunners, featuring on the bench against Manchester City.

But the centre-back is reportedly already making a mark in training, breaking a few club records.

LondonWorld report that Kiwior now has the record for the fastest short sprint, highest agility jump, and the standing spring record.

The same outlet adds that Kiwior has already impressed his teammates and the coaching staff at London Colney, as Arsenal prepare for the second half of the Premier League campaign and the title run-in.

It’s always a bonus to be quick off the mark in the Premier League, with plenty of strong and fast wingers and strikers around the division.

If Kiwior can pair that with strong technical attributes, he should be a success in English football.

Kiwior may struggle to break into the Arsenal starting lineup immediately, given he’s expected to be a backup to Gabriel Magalhaes.

Gabriel rarely misses a match, and he’s having a strong season so far, so the newly-acquired Polish international might need to wait for an opportunity.

But with the return of the Europa League in March and 19 Premier League fixtures still to play between now and the end of May, the 22-year-old will play his part at some stage.
