The Evening Standard report that Jorginho has already taken several steps to settle with Arsenal since his deadline-day move from Chelsea.

Despite moving from one London club to another, the Italian international has moved house to avoid the traffic to get to London Colney.

He’s also quickly made friends with Granit Xhaka, with the pair going out for a recent meal together.

In training, the 31-year-old has been a vocal presence, making his opinions known and demanding high standards. He’s already reportedly made an impression on several young players.

As a result, Jorginho is seemingly seen as one of the tactical leaders in Mikel Arteta’s squad already, as evidenced by the fact he was one of those called over for in-game conversations with Arteta on Wednesday.

These are encouraging signs for Arsenal fans, particularly given how well Jorginho played in that Manchester City clash.

With Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny out injured, Jorginho looks set for another start for the Gunners on Saturday, as Arteta’s side try to get back to winning ways.
