Arsenal have been drawn against Sporting CP in the last 16 of the Europa League.

After the Europa League play-offs concluded on Thursday night, Arsenal have finally learned their opponents for the last 16.
They will face Sporting CP, with the first leg to take place away from home on 9th March.
The second leg will take place at the Emirates on 16th March.
Arsenal face Bournemouth at home on the Saturday before the first leg, Fulham away on the Sunday between the two legs, and Crystal Palace at home after the second leg.
With all three league games (and one of the Europa League legs) in London, that’s certainly not as bad as it could have been.
In 2018-19 UEFA Europa League Sporting CP and Arsenal were drawn into the same group in the UEFA Europa League.
In the first match, played at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal won 1-0 with a goal from Danny Welbeck.
In the second match, played at the Estádio José Alvalade, the teams played out a 0-0 draw.
Arsenal will, of course, be delighted to face Hector Bellerin who moved to Sporting in the January transfer window.
