The Gunners are on the lookout for a right winger who can provide rotation with Bukayo Saka for next season. Williams, a 20-year-old Spaniard, has caught the attention of several European teams, including Liverpool and Aston Villa.

His speed and ability to make a difference in individual duels make him a perfect fit for Mikel Arteta’s game plan, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly willing to negotiate with Athletic Club, taking advantage of the fact that Williams’ contract ends in 2024 and there is no sign of a renewal happening.

This makes him a relatively cheap option for several big teams in Europe, with a much cheaper transfer fee expected if a new contract is not agreed

Williams has had a successful season so far, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in 27 games played.

He is considered one of the most important young Spanish talents today and it seems likely that he will make the leap to a bigger team in Europe in the coming seasons.

It remains to be seen if Arsenal will be successful in acquiring his services, but the winger’s skillset would undoubtedly provide a boost to the Gunners’ attacking lineup.
