Former Arsenal player Alex Iwobi showed his appreciation for his former club after a solid performance for Everton in their win against Arsenal on Saturday.

Alex Iwobi spent 15 years at Arsenal, joining the club as a child and going on to make 149 appearances and score 15 goals before moving to Everton in a £34 million transfer.

On Saturday, Iwobi played a key role in Everton’s upset victory over the Premier League leaders.

After the game, Iwobi took to social media to express his emotions, posting “Nice To See Some Old Faces, Even Better To Win!”

He also shared a touching message in an Instagram story showing his respect for his former club, including pictures of him in Arsenal training and embracing current Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

As they say, ‘Once a Gunner, always a Gunner’.
