A recent study has revealed that Arsenal F.C.’s Away football kit has been rated as the best football kit in the 2022-23 Premier League season. The study, which used data from Football Kit Archive, was based on the average ratings and number of votes each kit received from fans.

With a total of 4.4-star rating and 2,980 votes, Arsenal F.C.’s Premier League 2022-23 Away Jersey takes the top spot.

The kit, provided by its brand partner Adidas, is predominantly black with metallic gold accents, including the Emirates branding at the front and its official tourism partner Visit Rwanda on the left sleeve.

In second place, Arsenal F.C.’s 2022-23 Home Kit features a red and white colour scheme with the classic Arsenal badge and has received a 4.1-star rating and 1,847 total votes.

Manchester United’s 2022-23 Away Shirt takes the third spot, with a 4.1-star rating and 1,633 votes. The kit is also by Adidas and is predominantly white with black and red branding elements, including its sponsor: TeamViewer.

The remaining kits in the top ten include Crystal Palace’s home and away kits in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Nottingham Forest’s Third Jersey takes sixth place, followed by Crystal Palace’s third kit in seventh place.

Leeds United’s 2022-23 Home Kit earns eighth place with a 4-star rating and 559 votes. The jersey is in white and features a faint LUFC logo pattern to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the football club’s 1972 FA Cup win.

Manchester United’s Premier League 2022-23 Home Kit lands in ninth place with a 3.9-star rating but has earned 384 more votes than its away version. Lastly, Tottenham Hotspur’s 2022-23 Third Kit from Nike takes the tenth spot with a 3.9-star rating and 1,083 votes.

According to a spokesperson from the company who produced the study (linked below), the results show that football clubs are not only thinking of how their kit appears on the field but also how versatile they are for their fans’ daily wear.

The Arsenal home and away kits have come out on top because they are easy to style and stick to traditional themes.
