Though he’s currently playing for Southampton, Theo Walcott showed on Sunday that he hasn’t forgotten the 12 years he spent with Arsenal.

With Arsenal winning the derby 2-0, Walcott posted an old picture of himself on Instagram, signalling “2-0” with his hands towards the Spurs fans.

For anyone unaware, the relevant match took place back in 2014, with Walcott starting for Arsenal in the FA Cup.

The Gunners were winning 2-0, but Walcott went down late on with an injury. The Spurs fans tried to give him grief, but the then-Arsenal winger responded with a smile and the above gesture.

Nine years later, with Arsenal winning 2-0 against Spurs again, it was the perfect time for Walcott to bring out the old photo.

As well as the Instagram post, Walcott also retweeted a post from Men In Blazers showing Ben White doing the same gesture towards the Spurs supporters.

Walcott has seen his minutes limited at Southampton so far this season, but he seems to be enjoying the chance to watch his old club lead the Premier League. Hopefully, he’ll be back playing regularly soon enough.
