Yves Bissouma is set to return from a minor setback when Tottenham Hotspur face Arsenal next week, amid other Spurs injury sufferers.

Yves Bissouma had to pull out of Tottenham Hotspur’s game against Portsmouth this weekend as he wasn’t feeling 100%, but the midfielder is expected to be available to face Arsenal, according to his manager.

“The injury came from the last match,” Antonio Conte said. “An ankle problem. He tried to push himself, but he was not 100%.

“It’s very good when the player tells us they are not 100% as Skipp was & he played well. He will (be okay for Arsenal).”

Rodrigo Bentancur is also expected to return for the north London derby, with Conte saying: “He has started to work. He’s still not ready and also for the FA Cup game but we hope to have him back for the next Premier League game.”

On Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski, Conte said he’s hoping to have them available in the next 10 days, meaning they’d either be returning for the Arsenal clash or the subsequent match against Manchester City.

Kulusevski is the more likely of the two, as Conte claimed his injury wasn’t serious and it’s just a case of monitoring it day by day.

Elsewhere, Lucas Moura will likely to continue to be absent with a tendon issue.

In summary, Bissouma and Bentancur should be available for Spurs against Arsenal, with Kulusevski also in with a decent chance. Richarlison is less likely, and Moura will probably miss out.

We should get further updates throughout the coming week as the picture becomes clearer.
