His stunning goal against Manchester United, in which he received the ball on the right flank, evaded a defender, and unleashed a powerful shot from 25 yards that went past David de Gea, is one of eight contenders for the award.

Fans have the opportunity to vote for their favourite goal. Saka’s goal is up against strikes from two Brighton & Hove Albion players (Solly March and Danny Welbeck), Marcus Rashford, Daniel Podence, Michael Olise and Harry Kane. Voting is also open for Player of the Month, Manager of the Month and Save of the Month (see end of the post for links).

His nomination for Goal of the Month and Player of the Month are testament to his impressive performances and his World Class status. With the season still ongoing, it will be interesting to see how much more Saka can add to his already impressive campaign and how he continues to develop as a player.

You can vote here for his goal, as well as helping Saka win Player of the Month, Mikel Arteta Manager of the Month and Aaron Ramsdale Save of the Month.
