The key factor that led to Jakub Kiwior’s decision to join Arsenal was the club’s “openness” and their desire to create a “big family” atmosphere, according to the defender’s agent, Pawel Zimonczyk.
In a recent interview, Pawel Zimonczyk praised Arsenal for the way they approached and convinced the Polish defender to join their team.
Kiwior recently signed a five-year deal with Arsenal and joined the team for a €25m transfer fee from Spezia. It was a move made to strengthen Arsenal’s squad as they compete for the Premier League title.
The amount of playing time Kiwior will get before the end of the season is uncertain, given the strong performance of Arsenal’s current defence, but there is no doubt he is a welcome addition.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have both been impressive at centre-back this season and it is unlikely that Mikel Arteta will make many unforced changes to the lineup in the coming months.
However, this did not deter Kiwior from joining the team and his agent was impressed with the way Arsenal presented themselves.
Zimonczyk stated, “The thing that captured me was the openness of the people who work at Arsenal.
“You can see that they form one big family there. I think they welcomed Kuba in from the first minute.”
