Arsenal have announced a second signing, confirming that 19-year-old Danish midfielder, Kathrine Kuhl has joined the club.

Not long after Arsenal announced that Jordan Nobbs had left the club and Victoria Pelova had joined, they confirmed that Kathrine Kuhl has also signed for the club, arriving from FC Nordsjælland.

Speaking to Arsenal.com, the teenager said, “I was ready for a new and bigger challenge.

“Making the step to the English league is a dream come true for me and when Arsenal were interested, it was such a great opportunity.

“There are so many great things around the club and all the fans and the community – it’s like a sisterhood. I’m looking forward to being a part of that!”

Head of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley said: “We’re delighted to have brought Kathrine to Arsenal. She is one of the most highly-rated young footballers in the game and fits the profile of player we want to bring to the club perfectly. I’m sure our supporters will join me in welcoming Kathrine to our club.”

Kuhl has scored two and assisted from from midfield for FC Nordsjælland this season.
