Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares have been absent from training with Arsenal due to injuries, according to a report.

Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares both missed out on the Arsenal squad playing in the north London derby on Sunday, with Cedric also having missed the previous couple of Mikel Arteta’s matchday squads.
Cedric’s absence was initially assumed to be related to his potential transfer to Fulham, but Football.London report that he’s recovering from a muscle issue – in addition to the very real talks over a Fulham exit.
Elneny has also been absent from sessions with a knee injury suffered in training last week, though he could still return in time for the next game.
On top of that, there are the longer-term absentees in Reiss Nelson and Gabriel Jesus, neither of whom are expected to return in time for the match against Manchester United this weekend.
But Nelson is reportedly getting closer to a return, which would be good news for Arsenal given their thin squad in forward areas.

The rest of Arsenal’s squad should be available for the weekend, though there are a few players at risk of suspension for the following Premier League game against Everton.
On the other side, Manchester United will be without Casemiro for that very same reason, as he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Crystal Palace in midweek.
