Mikel Arteta has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for January.
It is the fourth time on the shortlist this season for the Arsenal boss and he is looking for his third victory after winning in August and November/December.
In January, his team remained unbeaten, drawing with Newcastle United and winning against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
He is up against Steve Cooper of Nottingham Forest, Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton & Hove Albion, Unai Emery of Aston Villa, and Thomas Frank of Brentford.
Arteta’s nomination for the Manager of the Month award is a testament to his successful tactics and leadership skills.
He has been able to guide the team through a challenging month, where they faced tough competition from teams vying for a place in the top four, but still managed to remain unbeaten.
His strategies have led to a memorable 2-0 win over Tottenham in the north London derby, and a 3-2 success over Manchester United, which helped restore the team’s five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.
