Mikel Arteta, Tim Lewis, Edu Gaspar, and Arsenal owners Stan and Josh Kroenke were all pictured meeting up over the weekend, ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Dubai.

AFTV Media presenter Cecil Jee Thomas posted on Instagram on Sunday alongside Arsenal technical director Edu Gaspar, Arsenal owners Stan and Josh Kroenke, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, and Arsenal board member Tim Lewis.

It’s certainly rare to see that entire group all together in one room at once, though no details have yet leaked over exactly why they all decided to meet up.

With the club currently on a break for the World Cup, it was a good opportunity for some of the higher-ups to get together without jeopardising preparations for matches.

Arsenal fans will hope the meeting was related to the transfer market, with the January window now less than a month away.

The Gunners need some investment if they’re going to maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table for the rest of the season.

Arsenal’s immediate schedule involves a trip to Dubai, with the squad heading out on Sunday for a couple of friendly matches over the next week and a half.

After that, the Gunners will return to London for another friendly at the Emirates Stadium, before the Premier League returns on December 26th.
