Oleksandr Zinchenko further endeared himself to the Arsenal fans over the weekend with his response to a question about the colour of north London.

Oleksandr Zinchenko returned from injury just in time to play in the north London derby on Saturday, helping Arsenal to a 3-1 win over their local rivals.

After his strong performance on the pitch, Zinchenko then won over some more supporters in an interaction with one of them after the game.

“What colour is north London, by the way?” a fan asked as Zinchenko left the game.

“It’s obviously red, innit?!” Zinchenko answered.

Boyhood Arsenal fan Zinchenko has been winning people over every since he made the move to north London, particularly during the game against Fulham – when he was unable to feature but spent the game shouting and cheering along with the fans.

Zinchenko is competing for a spot with Kieran Tierney, who is also very popular with the fans. Many probably have mixed feelings over which of the two they’d prefer to be in the team on any given matchday.

But that’s no bad thing. With all the games this month, Tierney and Zinchenko should both get plenty of starts, but Arsenal won’t be overly reliant on either one of them in the key fixtures.
