Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be on the move again with talks said to be happening with PSG.

Few thought that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would stay long at Barcelona, not through choice, but because of Barcelona.

Six-months later, when Auba signed for Chelsea on a two-year deal under Thomas Tuchel, it seemed like he would be sticking around in the Premier League for a bit. Then Chelsea sacked Tuchel and Aubameyang lost his main cheerleader.

That’s perhaps unfair on Auba, who was, of course, banging them in for Barcelona after being kicked out by Mikel Arteta.

Auba has two goals in five Chelsea appearances, one in the Premier League and one in the Champions League, but it seems that Graham Potter may not want to keep the 33-year-old around too long. Check here if you’re looking for a sportsbook to take advantage.

Reports from France claim that talks are ongoing with PSG, a club Aubameyang has apparently always ‘appreciated as a destination’.

PSG’s manger, Christophe Galtier, previously managed Aubameyang when he was at Saint-Etienne where they won the Coupe de France in 2013.

The French side are said to want a striker to support Kylian Mbappe because also having Neymar and Lionel Messi is, apparently, not enough.

Arsenal warned ‘every coach had to suspend him’ before buying Aubameyang

If that’s true, it could well be a move that suits all parties and Aubameyang could be about to move for yet another transfer fee after Arsenal let him go for free. No wonder Xavi called his arrival in Spain a ‘gift fallen from the sky’.

Chelsea paid £10.8m for him on deadline day.

As per the report in France, if Auba is to join PSG, it will not happen until next summer.

Footmercato add that PSG are ‘advancing strongly on the Gabonese striker’.
