Rocco Vata is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder who has apparently caught the eye of Arsenal, Manchester City, Juventus and others.

Playing with Celtic’s u23s since he was 15, the Scottish Premiership side are said to want to hold onto the youngster who is under contract until 2024.

They might have some trouble given the interest already generated in him.

Rocco is the son of former Celtic player, the Albanian Rudi Vata, who featured 45 times for the club between 1993 and 1996.

Due to his mother’s side of the family, Vata has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level and has featured for Celtic in the UEFA Youth League.

He currently plays for Celtic’s B team in the Lowland League. He has made 11 appearances in that competition so far this season, scoring four and assisting one.

Vata has another goal from his four UEFA Youth League appearances, finding the net against RB Leipzig. He also found the back of the net in the Challenge Cup.
