Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus have been nominated for Premier League Player of the Month, whilst Mikel Arteta has received a Manager of the Month nomination.

The Premier League announced their nominees for the August Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards on Thursday, with Arsenal receiving nominations in both categories.
For Player of the Month, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus are both up for the award.
The Arsenal duo join Pascal Gross (Brighton), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham), Nick Pope (Newcastle United), Rodrigo (Leeds United), and Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace) on the shortlist. You can vote here.
Odegaard scored three goals in five games from midfield in August, helping Arsenal to five wins with some influential performances. Meanwhile, Jesus made a fast start to life with his new club, racking up three goals and three assists in those five games.
The duo are deserving nominees for the monthly award, and we’ll see if the public give them the votes they need to lift it.

As for Manager of the Month, Mikel Arteta joins Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Graham Potter, and Marco Silva in being nominated for August’s award.
Unlike Player of the Month, where Jesus and Odegaard face strong competition from the likes of Haaland, Arteta is surely the favourite for the manager award.
The Gunners were the only team to win all of their Premier League games in August, with only Manchester City coming close (four wins, one draw).
The vote closes on Monday, 12th September, and you can vote here.
