Mikel Arteta has been named manager of the Month for August after guiding his team to five straight wins at the start of the season.

Mikel Arteta has picked up his third Manager of the Month award after Arsenal won their first five league games of the season.
Thee 40-year-old oversaw a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace, a 4-2 win over Leicester at the Emirates, a 3-0 win at Bournemouth and two 2-1 home wins against Fulham and Aston Villa.

Arteta previously won the award in September 2021 and March 2022.
He won thanks to a public poll combined with the view of a panel of experts, and he saw off competition from Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola and Graham Potter
Erling Haaland, unsurprisingly, won Player of the Month.
