Arsenal’s transfer business seems to be going pretty well so far.

Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus have broken into the starting lineup, Matt Turner has slotted into the backup goalkeeper role, and Fabio Vieira made his first squad appearance on Saturday after injury.

Even Marquinhos is doing well, with three goals in three games for the Arsenal u21s.

On top of that, Arsenal have moved on a number of players already (Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Alexandre Lacazette, and a few loanees), with further departures expected before the conclusion of the summer window.

But Mikel Arteta says their window isn’t done yet, as they’re still hoping to bring someone else in.

“We will try, to the end,” Arteta told Sky Sports. “The transfer window is tricky at the moment. We would like to do something else but let’s see what we can do.”

The primary focus is likely to be the addition of another winger, with Nicolas Pepe edging closer to a departure.

New signings Vieira and Marquinhos can rotate with Bukayo Saka if necessary, but Vieira may end up playing in a different position and Marquinhos is very inexperienced.

Ideally, Arsenal would sign a natural winger to compete with Saka for starts this season.
