Real Madrid man Isco has finally found a new home which means the media can stop linking him with Arsenal.

The media have linked Isco with a move to Arsenal since at least 2015 but the club have never, seemingly, come close to signing him.

Even at the start of 2022, they were claiming that Arsenal were in talks to sign him despite him not fitting the age profile the club are recruiting.

Back in 2015, Isco was just 23 and had only been at Real Madrid for two seasons following a £27m move from Malaga. That made sense.

Seven years on, it made none.

Playing 352 times for Real Madrid, scoring 53 and assisting 56, was never enough to see the player given a break by the media who were constantly linking him with a move away.

Now, he has finally left Real Madrid – but not, obviously, for Arsenal.

Isco has signed a two-year deal with Sevilla, whom Arsenal just recently put six past.
