Fabrizio Romano reports for Caught Offside that Arsenal are still in for Youri Tielemans, and the player still expects the move, but other clubs are starting to make moves for the Leicester City midfielder.

Arsenal are yet to submit an official bid for Tielemans, but he remains on their summer shortlist.

Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports has reported that Arsenal technical director Edu is still in touch with the player’s agent.

Tielemans is keen to join, and Arsenal have agreed personal terms with him, after working on the deal for a year.

If Arsenal reach an agreement with Leicester, Jacobs understands that the midfielder will sign.

Manchester United are also reportedly interested in Tielemans, which may push Arsenal to make a decision.

Charles Watts and David Ornstein have both previously confirmed that Arsenal haven’t fully pulled out of the race for Tielemans, they’ve just been prioritising other positions.

Watts and Ornstein claim Arsenal could return for the midfielder later in the window, especially if they make any sales in the middle.

Tielemans’ contract runs out in 2023, and Leicester are keen to sell to generate funds for their summer business.
