Arsenal have announced another pre-season friendly with an Arsenal XI set to take on St Albans City FC after the game was initially cancelled.
An Arsenal XI will face St Albans City FC on Monday, 1 August 2022 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Arsenal had previously cancelled the game, stating that they would not have enough players, however it has now been re-instated with St Albans saying it is a ‘great relief’ due to the crowd they expect to turn up for the match.
As the game comes just two days after Arsenal play Sevilla in the Emirates Cup, and just four before the first game of the season against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on 5 August, it’s hard to imagine many first-team regulars will be involved, but you never know.
The game will be played at Clarence Park, the National League South’s home ground.
Tickets can be purchased here from St Albans and are priced at £10 for adults, £8 concession and £4 for under-18s.
