Arsenal Fixture News report that Arsenal will officially release their new pink third kit this week on Friday, before wearing it on the pitch for the first time for the Emirates Cup on Saturday against Sevilla.

Arsenal released their new home kit before the end of last season, wearing it against Everton on the final day of the Premier League season, before the slick black away kit an outing in pre-season.

But the Gunners are yet to officially confirm their third kit, so that’s the last one we’re waiting on.

Despite the lack of an official announcement thus far, we’ve known the design of the third kit for a while now.

Leaks confirmed months ago that Arsenal will wear light pink for the first time, shaking things up compared to the usual red and white, yellow, and blue.

Further pictures have since shown the shirt up close, as you can see above and below in this article.

Though mostly a plain pink shirt with black trim, there’s a pattern on the shirt seemingly taken from the Arsenal badges of old. You can spot the same design on all of the badges from 1949 to 2002.

That design is a nice nod to Arsenal’s past in an otherwise fairly unprecedented Gunners shirt. We should see how it suits the players later this week.
