Arsenal have completed a deal to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko with Pep Guardiola confirming the move, and Arsenal fans overwhelmingly think it’s a great transfer.

Pleasing the majority of Arsenal fans at the same time can be a tricky business, but, with their latest signing another Manchester City first-teamer, the Gunner’s fan base are mostly united in agreement – this is a good signing.
What makes it even better is how highly Pep Guardiola rates Zinchenko – and the fact City weren’t looking to sell him this summer.
For reasons I’m sure we’ll learn more about after it is all made official, Zinchenko opted to leave Manchester City, where he has won nine trophies, including four League Titles, to reunite with his former coach, Mikel Arteta.
On Twitter, I asked what Arsenal fans thought of the deal and, at the time of writing, only one had said they didn’t think it was a good move.
The rest were united in praise.
He's a top utility player, hardworking, dedicated and a leader on and off the field.
I think we made a great addition by signing him.
He's bringing in a massive wealth of experience and winning mentality just like GJ9.

When you read City fans saying ‘we don’t really understand how good the player is we’re getting’ I get excited. I think it’s a sensational signing.

No-nonsense type of signing, got to like that

Good signing that can become a great one.

It's a great signing for us. He is highly rated by Pep himself. I am quite surprised they let him go.

He'll be great cover/competition for KT and he can also step into midfield. Considering his versility and the fact utd paid 55m for someone similar, I think it's a good deal.

Am worried for Tierney , he may lose his spot man

I don’t buy the argument he’s cover, he’s coming to be a starter. Great signing and along with Saliba and Jesus the spine of the side has been improved greatly

Potentially the signing of the summer. He is cover for Tierney, Xhaka, Partey, Martinelli.

The fact that City actually don't really want to sell him makes me believe that this signing will be a steal for Arsenal.
Yea I know City could get Cucurella, but still a good signing for us. Winner mentality and already formed the chemistry with Arteta. https://t.co/oy9sXm6IaP

Quality signing!!!

Delighted. Flexible, skillful and (best of all) their players and fans are gutted to see him go. Says all you need to know.

Very good signing. But I am more happy about that we made the incoming transfers in the early stages of the window. Arsenal had a clear plan what to do, and not just "monitoring the market for opportunities". We can start the season strongly.

Utility player with lots of potential to improve. Great signing imo.

Not just a back up to Tierney, a real challenger to the position plus great in midfield too. Get Tielemans in before window closes and that's an A+ transfer window!!

Brilliant. Hope we play him primarily as a midfielder.
