Arsenal have completed a deal to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko with Pep Guardiola confirming the move, and Arsenal fans overwhelmingly think it’s a great transfer.

Pleasing the majority of Arsenal fans at the same time can be a tricky business, but, with their latest signing another Manchester City first-teamer, the Gunner’s fan base are mostly united in agreement – this is a good signing.

What makes it even better is how highly Pep Guardiola rates Zinchenko – and the fact City weren’t looking to sell him this summer.

For reasons I’m sure we’ll learn more about after it is all made official, Zinchenko opted to leave Manchester City, where he has won nine trophies, including four League Titles, to reunite with his former coach, Mikel Arteta.

On Twitter, I asked what Arsenal fans thought of the deal and, at the time of writing, only one had said they didn’t think it was a good move.

The rest were united in praise.
