Gabriel Magalhaes is on Juventus’ shortlist for a summer signing, but previous reports suggest an Arsenal sale is very unlikely.

Gazzetta.it report that Juventus have a list of potential replacements if Matthijs de Ligt leaves the club this summer, one of whom is Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes.

According to the report, Gabriel is valued at around €40m and Juventus have looked into a swap deal involving Arthur joining Arsenal.

But reports from earlier in the summer suggest Juventus aren’t going to have much luck here.

The Telegraph claim that Gabriel is happy at Arsenal and not planning to push for a move to Juventus.

It would reportedly take a considerable fee for Arsenal to even consider a sale. Gabriel is still under contract until 2025, having only joined in 2020.

The player himself is settled in London and at Arsenal, starting a family in the city.

When Gabriel was previously linked with Barcelona, Football.London reported that Arsenal were refusing to entertain any offers for the player. A summer transfer seems very unlikely.
