At the end of May, Arsenal confirmed that they had released Scottish international, Lisa Evans, after five years with the club.

Then, a few days later, they confirmed that they had also released Viktoria Schnaderbeck.

Evans joined Arsenal from Bayern Munich in 2017 and helped Arsenal win both the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup in 2018 and the Barclays FA Women’s Super League title in 2018/19.

She made a total of 95 appearances for the Gunners.

Evans spent last season on loan with West Ham.

Schnaderbeck, meanwhile, played for Arsenal 40 times after also signing from Bayern Munich, a year after Evans arrived.

She spent last season on loan with Totenham.
