Arsenal announced a short term loan from 1 June to 15 August, when Kim will join the team for pre-season.

While many Arsenal players will be involved with the Euros in England, Kim will be stateside keeping up her fitness level by playing a few NWSL games.

She will be therefore be ready once pre-season starts and probably ahead in terms of preparation in comparison with other players.

The Arsenal 2022/23 season will start in September, as the UEFA Women Champions league qualifier Round 2 will take place late September this year on 20th-21st for the first leg and 28th-29th for the second leg.

The FA WSL is slated to start in September as well, probably on the weekend of the 10th-11th.

This is due to the FIFA WWC qualifier games taking place between the 29th August and 6th September.

This is a win-win situation for the club and the player who both will benefit from that period of time in the USA.
