Eddie Nketiah’s future at club and international level looks like it could be in for a world of change this summer with his Arsenal contract expiring at the end of next month and an international switch on the cards.

Along with Callum Hudson-Odoi, football.london report that Nketiah will declare his allegiance to Ghana, despite playing for England as a youngster.

He has already received his Ghanaian passport.

Nketiah has 16 goals in 17 appearances for England u21 (and is their record goalscorer), 6 in 9 for the u20s, 9 in 10 for the u19s and 4 in 2 for the u18s.

Ghana are believed to have approached Nketiah and his family numerous times and it seems this persistence has paid off.

Playing with Thomas Partey probably hasn’t hindered Ghana’s chase, either.
