Paulo Dybala is turning down a potential move to the Premier League to join Inter Milan instead, according to a report from Italy.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via GIFN) report that Paulo Dybala has agreed to sign a four-year deal with Inter Milan, with the Serie A side making him a satisfactory offer of €6m annual salary and an important role in their team.

Dybala has now given the green light to a move, which would be a free transfer as his Juventus deal expires this summer.

ESPN previously reported that Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur had all made contact with Dybala’s camp over a potential free transfer this summer.

Dybala is expected to leave Juventus in June, and there’s also interest from clubs in Spain.

But if La Gazzetta dello Sport are to be believed, a stay in Italy is now the most likely outcome.

Dybala has 14 goals and six assists for Juventus this season in 2,269 minutes, a goal contribution every 113 minutes.

The biggest downside of Dybala’s campaign has been a number of injury problems.

The forward has been ruled out of action four or five times in 2021/22, though no single injury has kept him out for more than five consecutive games.

On a free transfer, it may be worth the risk.
