According to the Nigerian publication ‘Punch’, the Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen ‘dreams’ of playing for Arsenal.

With Arsenal on the lookout for a goalscorer, that could be good news. He has, after all, scored 16 goals, with five assists, in 28 games.

To compare, that’s as many as Martin Odegaard (6), Gabriel Martinelli (5), Alexandre Lacazette (4) and Nicolas Pepe (1) have combined this season.

Valued at around £54m, the 23-year-old is under contract with Napoli until 2025 after a £67.5m move from Lille in 2020.

What that means is that Arsenal are likely to have to break their transfer record to land him.

Napoli are said to want around £84m for him.
