Former Arsenal defender, Shokdran Mustafi was confronted in his home by three masked men who robbed him of around €1m of items, including jewellery, watches, bags and cash.

Wearing balaclavas, the burglars gained entry via the balcony where they are believed to have spent around half an hour ransacking Mustafi’s home before anyone realised they were there.

According to the report from Spain, when the burglars encountered Mustafi, thankfully, no violence was used and the 30-year-old and his family were unhurt physically.

The police are said to be looking into the robbery to not only find the perpetrators but to determine if they are the same group who have already raided the home of other footballers during match days.
