Daily Cannon understands that Nikolaj Möller picked up a foot injury in FC Den Bosch’s match against FC Volendam on Friday night.

Möller has been a regular starter for Den Bosch since his move in January, making his 11 league appearance and his 10th start for the team on Friday.

The 19-year-old striker had also been in good recent form, with three goal contributions in his previous six games despite the disruption of a mild hamstring injury in early April.

Unfortunately, Möller was forced off 57 minutes into Den Bosch’s most recent fixture after his foot was crushed in a challenge.

Though the injury isn’t considered to be serious, Den Bosch only have two games remaining, with the last on May 6th. Möller is therefore considered unlikely to play again on his loan.

Möller joined Arsenal in the summer of 2020, putting up 10 goal contributions in 18 games in his debut season for the u23s. That earned him a couple of loan moves this campaign, and he’s currently playing in the Dutch second tier.

Also a Sweden u20 international, Möller will probably be looking for another loan spell next season to continue his development in senior football.
