Dani Ceballos has endured something of another tough season at Real Madrid.

Coming into the season with a serious injury that he picked up at the start of the Olympics, he missed the first half of it.

Since a return to fitness, minutes have been hard to come by, although when he has got them, he has tended to impress.

Still, it seems unlikely that Ceballos’s long-term future is at the Bernabeu, no matter how much he would like that to be the case.

Mostly, Ceballos has been linked with a return to Real Betis but according to multiple reports on sites around Europe, Inter Milan are keen to bring him to Italy to serve as a backup to Marcelo Brozovic.

Ceballos, of course, spent two years on loan with Arsenal and, except for a few matches at the end of his first season, did very little to impress.
