Following Derby County’s relegation to League One, we highlighted that there are a few former Arsenal players in Derby’s current team. Luke Plange, Malcolm Ebiowei, and Krystian Bielik all spent time in the Gunners’ academy.

Plange has already secured a move to Crystal Palace, joining them in January before returning to Derby on loan. But the other two need to sort out their futures now that Derby are going down.

The S*n report that Palace are hoping to snap up Ebiowei as well, with the teenager out of contract in the summer.

Patrick Vieira reportedly sees Plange and Ebiowei as long-term prospects, and he wants to loan both out next season.

All Nigeria Soccer confirm the story of Palace’s interest in Ebiowei, so it does seem to have some legs.

18-year-old Ebiowei has made himself a regular for Derby in recent months.

He’s on a run of nine consecutive Championship starts since March 5th, and looks to be developing into the player he promised to be before his departure from Arsenal in 2020.

Derby were hoping to keep him and extend his deal, but that seems unlikely right now.
